This wine is smooth and velvety on the palate with excellent integration of Christmas cake fruits and spicy with a hint of vanilla on the finish. This complexity and harmony results from the prolonged ageing in both barrel and bottle with 26 months spent in a combination of French and American oak and at least 3 years in bottle.
